Within the next two weeks, seasoned Manhattan chef Scott Varricchio will open his first restaurant — the long-awaited $1.6 million oceanfront Citrus Grillhouse, in the Ocean Park complex across from the newly-renovated Humiston Park.

At an invitation-only preview party on Sunday night, Varricchio and his co-owner wife Allison agreed that delays in the Humiston Park project forced them to postpone their opening, originally scheduled for last year. READ MORE

If Scott Varricchio ever imagined himself living in Florida, it was with a golf club in his hand, not a wooden spoon.
